Motorola Defy Mini Approved By The FCC

Motorola’s DEFY MINI made an appearance on the FCC today. The waterproof/dustproof device has been approved for GSM bands 850 and 1900, and WCDMA bands II and V. The budget phone was revealed early this year for various international markets. The Motorola Defy Mini is dust and water resistant, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It features a 3.2-inch Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3MP camera on the back with a VGA shooter on the front.

The phone has support for AT&T bands, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be hitting the United States’ second largest carrier. The device is believed to be launched in February or March in UK for about $225.
